A blank content calendar can feel heavy. The trick is to stop opening it every morning and plan once, on purpose. Here is the four-step routine I use with clients.
1. Pick three themes
Choose three things you want to be known for. Everything you post should fit under one of them. If an idea does not fit, it waits.
2. List your questions
Write down every question a customer has asked you in the last month. Each one is a post, a story or an email.
3. Batch the writing
Write all the captions in one sitting. Plain notes are fine. You can polish them later, when you add the pictures.
4. Leave space
Keep one slot a week free for something timely. A plan should help you, not box you in.
- Three themes
- A list of real questions
- One writing session
- One flexible slot a week
Try it once. Most people finish with a month of ideas and a lot more energy for the rest of the week.
